Lola M. Dillehay died peacefully on October 14, 2011, at Pioneer Place Nursing Home, Vale, OR. She was 95.

Mrs. Dillehay was born in Everly, IA and grew up in Hartley, IA. She moved to Santa Cruz, CA and married Donald O. Dillehay on July 3, 1938.

They moved to Gilroy in 1942 where she remained until Feb. 2007 when she moved to Assisted Living in Ontario, OR.

While in Gilroy, she worked with Don on his business at Standard Oil Wholesale and AAA Insurance. She was active in the community and worked as a volunteer at many Garlic Festivals. She was a volunteer at the Hospital for many years. She was active in PEO and served twice as the president. She was also active in Eastern Star and is a Past Worthy Matron and was a Grand Representative for the state of California to the state of Mississippi. She was also active in the Gilroy Presbyterian Church.

Her husband Don, her grandson Troy, her daughter Pat and her son Dennis, preceded Mrs. Dillehay in death. Her son Bob Dillehay of Tabernash, CO, survives her.

There are also seven grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on November 5, 2011, at 1:00 P.M. at Habing Family Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Lola Dillehay may be made to the Gilroy Chapter of PEO in care of Habing Family Funeral Home, 129 4th Street, Gilroy, CA.
