Loren E. Bryan died at Mabie Skilled Nursing Facility on April 19. He was born in Aromas and was 90 years old.

He lived all of his life in San Benito County and was a farmer and executive secretary of the San Benito County Farm Bureau. He was a director for the San Benito County Water District, a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and a graduate of UC Berkeley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret, in 1979.

He is survived by his children and their spouses, Sharon and Bob Munford of Mexico, Mo., James and Delores Bryan of Los Banos, Annette and Frank Arnall of Sacramento, Lea and Joel Beem of Fair Oaks, and Greig and Linda Bryan of Paicines; his brothers and sister and their spouses, Bowden and Jean Bryan of Coquille, Ore., Donald and Frances Bryan of Adel, Ga. and Mona and Les Kaufman of Troy, Mont. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 2pm on Friday, April 22 at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. Rev. Joan Gardner of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church will officiate.

Arrangements and cremation are through Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home and Gavilan Hills Crematory. Donations are preferred to The Alzheimer’s Day Care Center c/o Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home, 363 7th St. Hollister, CA 95023.
