M. Delia Medina died Feb. 4 in Ventura.

She was born in Hollister and was 57 years old. She went to schools and attended San Benito High School in Hollister. She had lived in Ventura for about 18 years and was a certified nurse assistant and worked in the home healthcare field. She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Ventura.

She is survived by her two daughters and their husbands, Anna Lisa and Daniel Crandall of San Juan Bautista and Gloria and Chris Cunningham of Concord, N.C.; her brothers, Bernie Ramirez of Hollister, John Cabrera of Oxnard, Tim Cabrera of Oxnard and Eddie Cabrera of Oxnard.

She is preceded in death by her mother Carmen Alvidrez and her brother Tony Cabrera. She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Zoa Lopez of San Juan Bautista and Samuel Cunningham of Concord, N.C. and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mass will be celebrated at 1pm on Tuesday, Feb. 8 at St. Benedict’s Church.

Friends can gather at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home at 12:30pm for a procession to the church.

Interment will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery.

Donations are preferred to Hospice.
