Manuel Antonio Soto passed away Friday evening at the age of 63, after a period of failing health. Born in Garden Grove, California, he came to San Benito county over 50 years ago, having lived in San Juan Bautista before moving to Hollister.
Manuel had worked for many years at Ranch Milk, then he was with K&S Market for several years. Manuel was an avid S.F. Giants and Oakland Raider fan. He is survived by his wife, Anita R. Soto of Hollister, children; Ruby and Frank Soto, both of Hollister, Mother, Ruby Regalado of Hollister, brother of Dolores Hernandez, Chris, Robert, Frances Soto, Jose Luis Regalado, Philip and Peter Regalado, all of Hollister, Michael Regalado of Los Banos, Alfred Regalado of Gonzales and Linda Regalado of Fresno. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit at the Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home on Wednesday after 10 A.M. until 8 P.M., with the Rosary to be offered at 7 P.M. Funeral services will begin Thursday at 9:30 A.M. from the funeral home, proceeding to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for a funeral Mass at 10 A.M. Burial to follow at the San Juan District Cemetery.
