Manuel G. Luna, Jr. passed away Tuesday morning at the age of 69 at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose. Born in Sacramento and has lived in San Benito County all his life. He attended local schools and has worked in farming for over 40 years.
Manuel is the son of the late Manuel and Jenny Luna, brother of Vincent Luna, Lupe Luna, Bobby and Raymond Luna, Henrietta Patino, Rosemary Casas, Rudy Luna, Gloria Mancera and the late Abel Zepeda, Johnny Corral, Ruben, Robert, George and Theodore Luna. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit at the Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home in Hollister on Sunday , March 21st.from Noon to 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary Service to be offered at 6:00 P.M. in the chapel. The funeral services will begin on Monday morning leaving the funeral home at 11:30 A.M. proceeding to Old Mission San Juan Bautista for a funeral Mass commencing at 12 Noon. Cremation to follow with Graveside services and burial on Thursday, March 25th at 11:00 A.M. at San Juan District Cemetery.
