Marcus “Ted” Hannah was born on April 22, 1936 in Hollister, CA, to William Amos and Arminta Goodman Hannah. He served in the United States Air Force from 1954 until 1964.
Ted married Earlene Rowe on Feb. 7, 1969 in Reno, NV. He worked for many years as an auto mechanic before his retirement. He and his wife moved to Johnston County in 1999 from Hollister, CA. Ted passed away on Monday, Dec., 18 at his home at the age of 70 years, 8 months and 26 days.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 12 brothers and sisters.
Ted is survived by his wife, Earlene, 4 daughters: Melanie Nasaire of Hollister, Robin Tomasini and Roxanne Soares, both of Tishomingo and Tonya Cooper of Ardmore, 2 sons: Randy Bailey of Carson City, Nevada and Bob Bailey of Independence, Missouri, 2 sisters: Ollie Hagan of Watsonville, CA and Donna Reinosa of Hollister, his brother, Tom Hannah, also of Hollister, and 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
