She was born in Hollister and lived here most of her life,
having moved to San Jose five years ago to be with her sister.
Margaret “Gasper” Allender died Monday evening at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose. She was 91 years old
She was born in Hollister and lived here most of her life, having moved to San Jose five years ago to be with her sister.
She is the aunt of Chris Alexander of San Jose, Paula Alexander of Marian Del Rey and Robert Lamb of Manteca.
She was preceded in death by her Parents Frank and Maria Gasper; her sister, Margaret Lamb; and brother, Joseph Gasper.
She was a homemaker most of her life and was an avid lover of animals.
A memorial graveside service will be Monday, Jan. 10 at 1pm at the mausoleum in Calvary Cemetery. Funeral arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Grunnagle Ament Nelson Funeral Home and Crematory in Hollister.
Contributions are preferred to Pet-Friends in care of the funeral home.
