Funeral services for Maria Carmen Baptiste, who died June 10 at the age of 91, were held on Monday at the Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home. The funeral Mass was offered at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and officiated by Fr. Ron Green. Entombment and graveside services followed at Calvary Cemetery in the mausoleum. Recitation of the Holy Rosary was Sunday evening and offered by Alice Freitas.
Pallbearers were: Anthony Freitas, Joseph Freitas, Steve Sutti, Dean Freitas, Gordon Sandles Jr. and Dale Pelagrini. Salvatore P. Spina was an honorary pallbearer.
