A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 pm in San Ramon, CA on June 28, 2014, at the Church of the Valley located at 19001 San Ramon Valley Road. In lieu of flowers, please direct donations to “The Poston Restoration Project” c/o Marlene Shigekawa, at 956 Hawthorne Drive, Lafayette, CA 94549.
 Marianne Chisato (Masui) Ogawa passed away with her family beside her on June 3, 2014.
 Marianne was born the second of six children and lived and grew up in the Salinas area. She graduated from Salinas High School in 1941 and was attending Woodbury College in Los Angeles when World War II broke out.
 She and her family were interned at the relocation camp in Poston, Arizona. When the war ended the family returned to California. She married Isao Ogawa in 1948 and raised four children.
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Isao Ogawa, her parents Yoshio and Sanayo, her sisters Grayce Tokunaga and Kazue and her brother Yoshiyuki. She is survived by her four sons Jeffrey (Carolyn) Ogawa, Russell (Nancy) Ogawa, Robert (Charlene) Ogawa and Donn (Yoko) Ogawa, by her brothers Don (Joan) and Steve Masui and 10 grandchildren.
