Mary C. Crawford died Friday, April 25, 2003 in Peoria, Ill. She was 75.
Mrs. Crawford was born in Sac City, Iowa. She worked for Illinois Bell (now Ameritech) for 42 years, retiring as a supervisor in 1994, and was union vice president of the Communication Workers of America for eight years.
She is survived by her children, Diane Misener of Dunlap, Ill. and Michael and Lawrence Hardy, both of Peoria, Ill.; her stepchildren, Peggy and Jean Crawford, both of Florida, and Eugene Crawford of Peoria; her sisters, Patricia Sullens of Hollister and Evangiline Ennis of Paul, Idaho; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jean Crawford, in 1985; her son, Anthony D. Hardy; and a brother and a sister.
A funeral Mass will be offered Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Peoria. Interment will follow at Fondulac Cemetery in Peoria.
Arrangements are under the direction of Davison-Fulton Woodlawn Chapel in Peoria.
