Mary C. Mendonca, age 94 of San Martin, went to be with her heavenly Father on February 22, 2007. Mary was born in Italy and moved to San Martin at the age of 6. Mary married Arnold Mendonca in 1948 and had a son, Arnold Jr., in 1952. Mary lived the majority of her life in San Martin, CA, before moving to Twin Falls, ID, in 2000, to be with her son and his family. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, and loved to travel. Mary was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her son, Arnold (Sherry) Mendonca; grandchildren, Jason (Mona), Danielle Ashley and Katie; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Janessa, Thomas, Julianna, Maria and Victoria. Mary also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Sunday, March 4, 2007 from 4-8 P.M. at Johnson Funeral Home, 17720 Monterey Street in Morgan Hill. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 5, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Catherine Parish, 17400 Peak Avenue in Morgan Hill. Interment to follow.
