Funeral services for Mary Dorothy Avilla, who died Friday July 30, 2004, were held the morning August, 4 with the funeral Mass offered at the Old Mission San Juan Bautista officiated by Fr. Ed Fitzhenry. Graveside services and burial followed at the San Juan District Cemetery.
The Pallbearers were: Joseph Escalante, Tom O’Connor, Robert Manning, Billy Lavagnino, Frank Benavento and Dale Holcomb.
The Honorary Pallbearers were: Bob Ottoboni, Harvey Nyland, Peter Nyland, Bill Lavagnino, Sr., Bill Cagney, Bud Holthouse and Leonard Caetano.
Funeral services were arranged by Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home.
