Mary E. Borovich died Sunday April 17, at the age 89 at the
Mabie Northside Skilled Nursing Facility.

She was born in Watsonville and has lived in Hollister since 1939. Mary attended Watsonville Schools and Notre Dame High in Watsonville. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She loved to garden and cook as well as visit with her family as often as she could either in person or on the telephone.

Mary had worked for the Hollister Canning Company as well as part-time with her late husband, Pete J. Borovich, in his photography business. Pete died in 1969.

Mary is survived by her daughter Terri Walden and husband Joe at of Merrimac, Mass.; her sisters- and brothers-in-law Miss. Lucy Borovich of Hollister; the late Frances Borovich and late George Borovich; and her sister Mary Eleanor of Hollister. She is also survived by a nephew, Joe Borovich and family of Auburn and a niece, Kathy Creed and family of Rockford, Wash.

Arrangements for cremation are under the direction of Grunnagle Ament Nelson Funeral Home and Crematory. A memorial graveside service will be held at Calvary Cemetery this summer in which date and time will be announced. Contributions are preferred to your favorite charity.
