Mary Jacinto Jones passed away at the Windsor Ridge Rehabilitation Center in Salinas on November 7th at the age of 60 years. Mary was a native of San Juan Bautista, was raised in San Benito County as a child and young adult. She was graduate of San Juan Grammar School, San Benito High School, and received her Associate of Arts Degree from Gavilan College. She was a member of the Old Mission San Juan Bautista Parish. She moved to Watsonville when she and her husband Bill Jones were married. Mary worked for Martinelli’s in Watsonville. “Her son was her life” said her family. Mary loved to cook and enjoyed listening to Country Music. Mary was predeceased by her parents George & Isabelle Jacinto, and her husband Bill Jones. Surviving are her son Jesse Jones of San Juan Bautista, her sister Patricia Jacinto of San Juan Bautista, and brother George Jacinto of Jonesboro, Arkansas. Friends are invited to visit at the Grunnagle Ament Nelson Funeral Home 870 San Benito St., Hollister on Thursday, Nov. 13th from 1:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Family and friends will gather at the Old Mission San Juan Bautista, 2nd & Mariposa Streets, San Juan Bautista Friday morning at 11:30 A.M. to attend the Mass Of The Resurrection beginning at 12 Noon. Interment will follow at San Juan District Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the Cancer Society c/o funeral home chapel.
