Mary was born in Denison, Iowa and moved to Gilroy with her parents, Mary and Edmund Howorth when she was eight. She attended St. Mary School and then Gilroy High. In 1973 she moved to the Denver, Colorado area.
She married John Allemand and they had six children. Three sons; Jack, Pat, and Jim and three daughters; Joan, Mary Frances, and Anne Marie. Her husband preceded her in death, also son Pat, and daughters Mary Frances and Anne Marie.
She also had five grandchildren Chris and Joab Sosa, Jonathon and Sarah Dix, and Ryan Allemand.
She is also survived by her brother and sister John and Patricia Howorth who reside in Gilroy.
