Mary Puccetti passed away on Dec. 28 after lengthy struggle with illness.
Born in Watsonville on November 18, 1919, Mary moved to Hollister in 1947 with her husband Nello Puccetti. In 1988 they moved to Chico to be near their daughter and grandchildren. A homemaker throughout her marriage, Mary was a member of Sacred Heart church in Hollister, and attended Our Divine Saviour during her residence in Chico.
She is survived by Nello, her husband of 62 years; their daughter Karen Puccetti; son-in-law Dale Steiner; grandchildren Rachel and Marc Steiner, all of Chico; sister Ann Marchana of San Jose; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her sons Arthur and Jeffrey Puccetti, brothers Al and Frank Berrocoso, and sisters Pearl DeMilte and Fay Berrocoso.
A memorial service will be held at the Calvary Cemetery for former Hollister resident Mary Puccetti at 1pm on Jan. 4, 2005. A reception for family and friends at Liberty Christian Church, 351 San Felipe Road, will follow the service.
