Maxine (Granma) Ginther was born in Anadarko, OK on 02/06/1938 and moved with her family to CA at a young age. Maxine passed away after a brief illness on 01/08/2009 in San Jose, CA.

Maxine worked as an instructional aide at San Martin Elementary and Live Oak High School.

Maxine was loved by many and if you went to school in San Martin or Morgan Hill you knew “Granma”

Maxine is survived by her loving children Gary (Terry), Cindy Young(Doug) and Tim (Cindy), her beloved grandchildren Jennifer Warman(Joel), Shannon Kerr (Justin), Meagan Young, Jake Young, Michael Ginther, Garrett Ginther and Daniel Ginther, Her much adored great-grandchildren, Taylor Warman, Mathew Warman, Kevin Warman, Savannah Warman, and Peyton Kerr. 3 sisters, 2 brothers, and many nieces, nephews and great friends

Maxine was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of 50 years, Stan and their youngest son Kevin. Her mother and father, Nellie and James Love and brother, Tommy.

We will be having a celebration of Maxine’s life at Crossroads Church, 145 Wright Ave., Morgan Hill Saturday February 7, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. There will be a reception immediately following the service.
