Melodean (Squirt) Woten passed away in Gilroy on March 14, 2007. She was 73 years old. She is survived by her husband Charles Woten of Gilroy, her children Terry (Barry) Shores of Gibbon, Nebraska, George Anne (Daniel) Martinez of Rocky Ford, Colorado, and Bruce (Vicki) Woten of Gilroy. She was the grandmother of 8 and great-grandmother of 13. She is also survived by numerous other relatives. She was preceded in death by her son Michael.
Mrs. Woten was a member of Eastern Star, Women in Touch II and volunteered at all the local hospitals for many years.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, March 17, 2007, 10:00 A.M., at Habing Family Funeral Home. Donations to Shriners Children’s Hospital in her memory are preferred and appreciated.
