MERRILEE ANN LOCKE

Died peacefully at home in Hollister on May 30, 2007.

She was born in WA State, Feb 27, 1924.

She attended Los Gatos area schools, lived and raised her family in the Los Gatos foothills, before moving to Santa Cruz and San Benito counties.

Merrilee had been a homemaker for 60 years.

Two Sisters; June Dixon and Helen Harris,

brother; Mark Tompkins, and granddaughters; Jayne Urbani and Kimberly Fuller, preceded her in death.

Merrilee loved the beauty of wildlife and nature, especially Alaska. She was a supporter of several organizations such as National Wildlife Federation.

She is survived by daughters; Diana Prater, Carol Strang, Lorraine Johnston, Meredith Williams, sons; Jack Williams, and Joseph (Pete) Williams Jr. She has 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, and a close and dear friend, Gene Carbone

The family gives thanks and appreciation to Cheryl Frank, RN, and all her team at Heartland Hospice and Private Care Delinda Sandoval, for their service and support during Merrilee’s last days.

A family memorial is planned for a later date.
