Michael C. “Mickey” Duffy died Sunday, Dec. 28, at San Jose Medical Center. He was 57.

The San Jose resident was born in San Francisco and served in the U.S. Marines from 1965 to 1968. He lived in Houston before San Jose.

Duffy is survived by siblings Bridget Christenson of Hollister, Kathy Thomas of Houston, Patrick Hannan of Dallas, Danny Hannan of Houston, Tommy Hannan of Pennsylvania and Robert Hannan of Houston. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Committal services with military rites will be held Monday, Jan. 5, at 11 a.m. at the Houston National Cemetery in Houston. Military rites will be offered by VFW Post District 4 in Houston.

Arrangements are through Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home.
