Hollister resident Miguel Perez Guerrero Sr. died suddenly Sunday, July 6, in his home at the age of 66.

Originally from Mexico City, Guerrero moved to San Benito County 30 years ago. He was an evangelistic minister for over 35 years, formerly owned Guerrero Income Tax Service in Hollister and worked for Gilroy Foods. Guerrero was also a member of Calvary Baptist Church and Teamsters Union local 890 of Salinas.

Guerrero is survived by wife Petra C. Guerrero of Hollister; children Miguel Guerrero Jr., Dan Guerrero, Sam Guerrero, Ruth Guerrero, all of Hollister, and Joel Guerrero of Gilroy; and brother Sabas Guerrero of Mexico City. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.

Friends may visit on Thursday from 10 a.m. until evening services at 7 p.m. in the chapel of the Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with burial and graveside services following at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
