here in Hollister.
Mildred “Millie” Norwood Bremmer died Sunday, Sept. 19 evening at the age of 92 here in Hollister.

She was born in Spokane, Wash. and had lived in Yuba City prior to moving to Hollister 12 years ago. Formerly she was an office clerk for the CHP, then was an office manager for Olivehurst Water District and later was a bank stenographer for Mid Valley Savings and Loan. Prior to retirement, she was an office manager for the Colusa County Fair. Millie was an avid line dancer.

She is survived by her husband Calvin A. Bremmer of Hollister. She is the mother of Herminia Marsh and husband Duane of Ben Lomand,Calif., Tal Norwood and wife Sue of Sacramento, Jody Dowdy and husband A.J. of Hollister, and Cheryl deGara of San Juan Bautista; brother of Donna Hurley of Portland, Oregon. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be Thursday afternoon at 1pm at the Sunnyslope Christian Center, 1520 Sunnyslope Rd., Hollister. Funeral and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Grunnagle Ament Nelson Funeral Home and Crematory in Hollister.
