A 42-year-old Chowchilla man suffered major injuries when a vehicle struck his motorcycle on Highway 152 on Friday afternoon, causing him to hit a semi-truck, according to a press release from the California Highway Patrol.
At about 4:20 p.m. Friday on eastbound Highway 152, a 2000 Chevrolet struck the 2005 Honda motorcycle while changing lanes, causing the motorcycle to go under a semi-tractor trailer, according to the CHP.
The Chowchilla man was transferred to the Regional Medical Center of San Jose with unspecified injuries, while the other two drivers suffered no injuries. The driver of the Chevy was a 38-year-old Los Banos man. The driver of the semi was a 40-year-old Fresno man, according to the CHP.
The CHP blocked off traffic in the right lane for about 90 minutes.
A CHP spokeswoman today noted how he had a broken bone of some sort, but she could not provide more details about his condition.
