Criminal Sentences:
Jamie Ruiz Rosales, 22, of Hollister, was sentenced by San Benito County Superior Court Judge Thomas P. Breen to two years and four months in prison on Wednesday for possessing a deadly weapon with a prior felony conviction.
Civil Lawsuits:
Jeffrey R. Smith filed a civil suit against Michael Grace and Betty Grace alleging breach of contract and seeking $33,115 in damages on Jan. 26 in San Benito County Superior Court.
Andrew Martinez and Christine Martinez filed a civil suit against Steve Rovella and Lisa Rovella doing business as Rovella’s Athletic Club alleging violation of civil rights and seeking and unspecified amount in damages more than $25,000 on Jan. 23.
