Owner Jasvir Nahal celebrated the opening of his second Subway Restaurant, 875 First St., Unit 1, with a ribbon-cutting Aug. 15.  

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage announced local Realtors Lisa and Greg Gardner have affiliated with the company as sales associates in the Morgan Hill office. Prior to joining Coldwell, the Gardners worked as sales associates for Intero Real Estate in Gilroy, where they specialized in residential home sales. They have been licensed Realtors for more than 22 years. Both Lisa and Greg started in real estate as mortgage brokers before moving into selling homes. Greenstreak Landscaping of Gilroy had another award-winning year. Greenstreak, lead by owner Pete Gluhaich, received two regional awards from the California Landscape Contractors Association. Gluhaich, a Cal Poly San Luis Obispo graduate, has been a landscape contractor for more than 27 years. The company has won 58 CLCA awards over 22 consecutive years. Local awards for the Central Coast were handed out June 27 in Santa Cruz. Greenstreak awards included first place: Design Build for Custom Residential for the Roberts Residence; and Achievement Award for the Water Feature for the Roberts Residence.

Betto’s Bistro had a ribbon cutting April 15 to open up its doors at 17385 Monterey Road in Morgan Hill. The restaurant features classic Italian cuisine with homemade pastas. Catering and a 40 person banquet room are also available. Joining Randi Bara and Norberto Hernandez were various members of their staff, and the ambassadors, board and staff members of the Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce.
