Pinnacles visitors bring money to the community
A new National Park Service report shows that more than 246,000 visitors in 2010 spent $4.8 million in Pinnacles National Monument and in communities near the park. The spending supported 58 jobs in the local area.

Hollister residents Barry and Jeanette Perdue have opened a ChemDry franchise here – Central Coast ChemDry. ChemDry is what the couple referred to as a “revolutionary” carpet cleaning process using carbonation and natural ingredients – producing millions of tiny effervescent bubbles to act as tiny propellants.
Dealer helps Toys for Tots
South County Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is an official Toys for Tots location. Residents can donate new, unwrapped toys at either South County Chrysler Jeep Dodge on the corner of Chestnut Street and Stutz Way or at South County Ram at 500 Stutz Way in Gilroy. Donations are accepted seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. From Nov. 28 to Dec. 6, South County CDJR will donate one toy for each car sold.
