A new National Park Service report shows that more than 246,000 visitors in 2010 spent $4.8 million in Pinnacles National Monument and in communities near the park. The spending supported 58 jobs in the local area.

The financial-services firm Edward Jones once again has been named a top company for training, ranking No. 15 on Training magazine’s 2012 Training Top 125 list and winning special recognition for its financial advisor training program, according to Mark Vivian of Edward Jones in Hollister.
Baty named Realtor of the Year
Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage announced that Diane Baty, a sales associate in its Gilroy office, was named Realtor of the Year by the South County Realtors Alliance, a subsidiary of the Santa Clara County Association of Realtors. Baty, who has been a Realtor for eight years, has served as the SCRA Gilroy tour director for the past three years. She was presented the Realtor of the Year Award – one of the organization’s highest honors – at the SCRA Inaugural Ball held last month at Fortino Winery. Foreclosure rate drops in San Benito
San Benito County's foreclosure rate dropped between December and January and also declined by 44 percent from the same time a year ago, according to figures provided by RealtyTrac.
