Briefs: Earth Day events set for next weekend

Pinnacles National Park will be hosting an Earth Day Habitat Restoration Event on April 20 from 9 a.m. to noon. There will also be a San Benito River clean-up April 20, also from 9 a.m. to noon, in honor of Earth Day.

The sexual battery and subsequent suicide of 15-year-old Audrie Pott, a Saratoga High School sophomore, hit home at Christopher High School in Gilroy Thursday morning when a 16-year-old juvenile was arrested on campus in connection with the alleged crime.
