Updated: Longtime professor accused of killing ex-wife

Police expect to recommend a homicide charge Tuesday against a longtime professor from the Naval Postgraduate School who is suspected of killing his 29-year-old ex-wife and dumping her body off a rural road near Aromas.

HPD seeks leads on unregistered sex offenders

The Hollister Police Department sent out a notice advising residents of two sex offenders who have failed to register as required by law. They are asking anyone who knows the whereabouts of Anthony Davis or Victor Zamudio to call the local police department.

A 31-year-old Gilroy man died in the early Friday morning car wreck on Highway 25 near U.S. 101, according to the California Highway Patrol, who released his name and the names of those involved on Monday afternoon.

Arrest made after body found near Aromas; victim’s ID released

Authorities have arrested a man in connection with the death of the woman whose body was discovered near Aromas last week and released the identity of the victim, according to a statement from the Monterey Police Department.

SVRC Social at Pearl Izumi

Even though 75% of their business is cycling related they do have quite a bit of gear for runners as well.
