Aromas-San Juan trustees OK preschool playground
Aromas-San Juan Unified School District trustees voted 4-0 to approve $36,000 in grant money to purchase and install playground equipment at the district’s Tom Connolly “Mi Escuelita” Preschool at their regularly scheduled board meeting this week.
College to reconfigure portion of Child Development Center
Gavilan College trustees Tuesday unanimously approved reconfiguring an “underutilized portion” of the Child Development Center to centralize office space for employees currently housed across campus.

Gavilan College board supports Panoche solar project
A representative of the revised Panoche Valley Solar Project asked Gavilan College trustees Tuesday to consider a letter of support for it. The board voted in support of the project with Board President Walt Glines casting the lone dissenting vote.
