Tungate for his recent article on partial-birth abortion, which was
very informative. On the other hand, it was another way that the
far left wing tries to defend the act of abortion.
You do not understand the true purpose and function of Affirmative Action. In higher education it plays a significant role in insuring that students prosper from a diverse student body. The irony is that most people think that only people of color (i.e. Latinos, Blacks etc.) benefit from Affirmative Action. However, empirical research shows that White students in college benefit the most from Affirmative Action because being around diverse groups of students has positive outcomes. Moreover, People of color who benefit from Affirmative Action do work VERY HARD to obtain social mobility. Affirmative Action is not a free hand out. It simply is a tool to used to create a more tolerant and righteous society. Justice and equity are essential for a Democracy. If you think that Affirmative Action is an Insult then I suggest that you do some homework and look up information on Harvard’s Civil Rights Projects website. Keep an open mind. You may learn something new. In a sense it would be an Insult to me as a Latino for you to continue with such blind ignorance.
