Five Hollister residents walked away unscathed from a minor
plane crash at the Hollister Municipal Airport on Saturday.
A single-propeller Beechcraft airplane, piloted by Hollister
resident Bernadette Abramson, 43, was about 50 feet off the ground
in the middle of takeoff when it began having engine troubles,
according to Hollister Police Sgt. Dan Winn.
It crash-landed at 6:50 p.m. on the runway, damaging the nose,
landing gear and wings of the plane, Winn said.
Abramson had four passengers in the plane with her, all from
Hollister: Ivan McGee, 20, Courtney Hartman, 18, Tyler Wilson, 19
and Ryan Jimenez, 20.
No one was injured.

The FAA was notified and are following up with an
investigation,

Winn said.
