Olga Ramirez Mata Sanchez died Wednesday, May 28 at Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. She was 47.
Mrs. Sanchez was born in Weslaco, Texas. She was a psychiatric attendant at Oakwood Correctional Facility and a Head Start teacher for LACCA for more than 16 years. She was a member of Community Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Ricardo Sanchez, Michael Sanchez and Ruben Sanchez, all of Lima, Ohio; her daughter, Jessica Sanchez of Lima; her fiance, James M. Burks of Lima; her father, Victorio Mata Sr. of Hollister; her mother, Martha Ramirez of Weslaco, Texas; her brother, Raul R. Luna of Weslaco; her sister, Olby R. Hughes of Hammond, La.; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Rene R. Luna.
Services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Community Baptist Church in Lima, Ohio, under the direction of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.
