Olinda B. (Buffone) Catanzaro, 93, of Morgan Hill, CA died on Wednesday, June 18, 2008. Funeral Services were held on Tuesday 9:30 A.M. from Shook’s Cedar Grove Funeral Home 486 Pompton Ave. (Rt. 23), Cedar Grove, NJ 07009 www.shookscedargrove.com. Funeral Mass 10:00 A.M. at Holy Angels R.C. Church in Little Falls, NJ. Entombment followed at Calvary Cemetery in Paterson.
Born in Clifton, NJ she also lived in Ridgewood, Danbury, CT and Cedar Grove before moving to California 2 years ago. She worked as an Executive Secretary for Curtiss-Wright Co. of Fairfield for many years. She served as past president for the Cedar Grove H.S. A.P.T. and was a host for foreign student exchange. She was a past president and member of the Cedar Grove Library Board for 18 years.
Beloved wife to the late John Baptist Catanzaro. Devoted mother to Linda Michele and John B. Catanzaro and his wife Patricia. Cherished grandmother to Elizabeth Green, Thomas R. Hoeft and John A. Catanzaro and great-grandmother to Thomas R. Hoeft, Jr. and Sara Grace Ley. Dear sister to Lee Dennis and the late Joseph and Frank Buffone. Loving friend to her caregiver, Kathleen Thomas.
