Opal Marie Felice passed away Aug. 19th in Hollister at the age of 89 years. A native of Freeburg, Illinois, Opal has been a resident of Hollister since 1947. She had been an active member of Sacred Heart Parish, the I. C. F., and the Catholic Ladies Aid Society. A homemaker her adult life, she also had been employed at the original Public Drive In Market; the Central Super Market; and retired from Cadalbert Egg Ranch.
The spouse of the late Anthony T. Felice, Opal is survived by daughters; Elsie Jane Sanchez, (Alfred), of Hollister, Marie Madeline Luebeck, (Joseph), of Butte Montana, son; Anthony Chester Felice, (Vickie), of San Jose, brothers; Robert King, (Dolores), of Florida, and Wayne King, (Pat), of Illinois, grandchildren; Alfred Louie Sanchez, (Martha), Michael Angelo Sanchez, (Mary Louise), Felicia Luebeck, Janis Curl, (Roger), and Sharon Campost, (Chad), eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Clifford King and sister Mildred Peterson.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2 P.M. until 8 P.M., with the recitation of the rosary at 7 P.M. at the Grunnagle Ament Nelson Funeral Home, 870 San Benito St., Hollister. Family and friends will leave the mortuary Friday morning at 9:30 A.M. for a Mass at Sacred Heart Church beginning at 10 A.M. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Donations are preferred to the Diabetes Assn or Sacred Heart School foundation, c/o the mortuary chapel.
