I love Hollister. I have always loved my hometown. I have been blessed to live where I was born. There are so many awesome folks living here.  Whether you're new or old to the community, we all call this home.  I have been volunteering lately...

One of the cornerstones of our legal system and our society in general is the concept of innocent until proven guilty, but with the pandemic our leaders have switched it to guilty until proven innocent. The California Department of Public Health, in my opinion, is at or near the top of that list.

I have a confession to make. I don’t read the Free Lance newspaper very often. As a writer and a business owner in town that may seem shameful, but it may also be the reason that I pass on it.
