The Tres Pinos Panthers sixth grade girls’ basketball team won
their first game on Dec. 1, beating Crossroads Christian School in
Morgan Hill 10-9. The victory marked the team’s first win, although
an earlier forfeit by Southside School has made their record 2-6.
Tres Pinos is just one of several local middle schools now
participating in afterschool sports programs, including both girls’
and boys’ basketball and flag football.
