Heaven received PASTOR GROVER WASHINGTON RISNER, JR from his home in Sherwood, OR, at age 88 yrs old. His wife and partner for 65 years, Betty, preceded him in March of last year. Born in Mammoth Springs, AK and raised in Tulsa, OK, Pastor Risner graduated from Central Bible College, Springfield, MO.
He and his bride pastored and taught in Assembly of God Churches for more than 55 years, from New York to CA. The theme of their lives was “He Abidith Faithful.”
A memorial, celebrating his life, is Saturday, April 16, 2011, at 2:00 P.M., Crossroads Christian Center, 145 Wright Av, Morgan Hill.
