Maggini-Mooney died Tuesday, Dec. 30, at the age of 68 in Santa
Rosa as a result of failing health.

Former San Benito County resident Patricia “Pat” Maggini-Mooney died Tuesday, Dec. 30, at the age of 68 in Santa Rosa as a result of failing health.
She was the daughter of the late Charles Maggini, graduated from San Benito High School and worked for the California Department of Corrections for 25 years.
She was preceded in death by husband Patrick Mooney, son Randy Carreiro and grandson Tony Carreiro.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law Jim and Julie Carreiro of Hollister; step-son John Mooney; siblings Jane McKinney of Colterville, Karen Maggini of Ada, Okla., and Charley Maggini of Healdsburg; grandsons Jim Carreiro Jr. and Mark Carreiro, both of Hollister; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
