Patricia Ann Lorenz, beloved Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Aunt and friend went home to be with her Saviour Jesus Christ on March 16, 2008. Patricia was born 69 years ago in Crockett, California and moved to San Jose at the age of 3. She resided in Santa Clara County most of her life except for several years spent in Pollack Pines, CA. She enjoyed a long career as an Administrative Assistant at Stanford Law School and finished her career at AT&T.

She loved gardening, sewing, reading, puzzles and spending time with her family and friends. But most of all she loved spending time with Jesus by praying, reading the Bible and attending church.

She was a special woman who cared more about others than herself, always had a smile on her face and a kind and encouraging word for others. Our hearts ache that she is gone but rejoice that she is home with Jesus.

She is survived by her two daughters Linda Scianna and Debbi Jones, son-in-law Gregg Scianna and sister Fay Meleen (Husband Bob). She was the proud Grandmother to Katie Scianna, and Amanda, Frank, Darryl and Charles Guenther. Loving Aunt to Faith Hunter and Robby, Marni and Ann Marie Meleen.

Private graveside services were held on March 20th, 2008 at Skylawn Memorial Park in San Mateo. A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 29th, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. in Morgan Hill at the Morgan Hill Bible Church at 15055 Monterey Highway, all are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
