Patsy Marie Katen of Gilroy died Sunday, Aug. 10, at the age of 39.

Katen attended South Valley Community Church and worked at Wal–Mart in Gilroy.

She is survived by her parents Joyce Vieira of Gilroy and Richard Katen of San Jose; brothers Richard Katen of Gilroy and Robert Katen of Stevensville, Mont.; grandparents Ed and Dorothy Mosby of San Martin; her aunts and uncles, two nephews and one niece.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 15, at 6 p.m. at South Valley Community Church. Visitation will be held at Habing Family Funeral Home on Friday, Aug. 15, beginning at noon. Graveside services will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery Saturday, Aug. 16, at 10 a.m.
