Paul A. Colvin

Paul A. Colvin died unexpectedly Saturday, Nov. 23, 2002. He was 54.

Mr. Colvin had lived in Hollister for 16 years and had worked for Pacific Gas and Electric Co. since 1967. He had been looking forward to retiring in February 2004 in Bokoshe, Okla., where he and his wife had purchased a small hilltop ranch.

He enjoyed working on computers and satellite equipment in his spare time and was known for his easy-going manner and willingness to help others.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Colvin of Hollister; his mother, Gertrude Colvin of Murphys; his children, Leonard, Heidi, Christine and Allen; his brother, Bill; his sisters, Nancy and Kathy; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, William A. Colvin.

Per Mr. Colvin’s wishes, no services will be held. Arrangements for cremation are under the direction of Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home.

Memorials are preferred to Hazel Hawkins Hospital Northside Convalescent Hospital Fund in care of the funeral home.
