Paul passed away peacefully in his Morgan Hill home. Paul was born in Sacramento, grew up in Tracy, and settled in Morgan Hill, for the rest of his life. He was a Vietnam veteran, serving his country for 20 years in the Navy. After military retirement, he worked at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC), and actively served his community by founding the South County Neighborhood Disaster Preparedness Project (SCNDDP) in Morgan Hill. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Staudenmaier; daughters, Anna Buck, Marcella Robinson and Paige Staudenmaier: his sister, Marjorie Philpott, and son-in-law, Cory Robinson. A Funeral Service will take place on Sunday, June 28, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at Johnson Funeral Home, followed by a celebration of his life at Ragoots Restaurant, both in Morgan Hill. A private burial will take place on June 29, 2009. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Paul’s memory to the Stanford Cancer Center or Hospice of the Valley.
