Paz Agulay Feril passed away at her Hollister residence on January 30, 2009 at the age of 77 years.
A native of Batac, Ilocos, Norte, Philippine Islands, Paz had retired as a elementary school teacher in the Philippines and enjoyed coming to Hollister since 1997 to spend extended visits with her family members living here. Besides her family, other interests were playing the piano, teaching children to appreciate the piano, singing, and ballroom dancing with her fellow teachers when she was in the Philippines. Paz was the wife of the late Rodrigo Feril D.D.S. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Mary Ann and Tony Angeles; her son and daughter-in-law Dan Feril D.D.S. and Lorna; and daughter Nora Derheim all of Hollister; son and daughter-in-law Feliciano and Karen Feril of Sunnyvale; son and daughter-in-law Rodrigo Feril Jr and wife Lyn; daughter and son-in-law Angie and Jonas Ongchangco, and daughter Maria Terza Feril all of the Philippines. Her grandchildren Jed, Danielle, Danika, Jordan, Kate, Chini, Carlo, Tasha, Famae, Japoy, and Shaun; two brothers one sister and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday (today ) February 3rd from 1:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with the recitation of the rosary beginning at 7:00 P.M. at the Grunnagle Ament Nelson Funeral Home 870 San Benito St.,Hollister. Family and friends will leave the mortuary on Wednesday morning at 9:30 A.M. to attend a Mass Of The Resurrection at Sacred Heart Church beginning at 10:00 A.M.
Interment, will be held in the Montechristo Cemetery, Batac, Ilocos, Norte, P.I.
Spiritual Bouquets (Mass offerings) are preferred c/o mortuary chapel.
