Pearl A. Ruiz passed away Wednesday evening at the age of 91 at the Mabie Southside Skilled Nursing Facility in Hollister. Pearl was born in Colorado and
has lived in Hollister for the past 22 years. Pearl formerly was a printing supervisor for Hillis Printing in San Jose. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was the wife of the late Agustin Ruiz who died in 2004. Pearl was the sister of Alice Solano of Hollister and aunt of Gloria Torres, Mary Ann Flores and Richard Solano, all of Hollister. Also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 A.M. to 8 P.M. at the Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home, with the Rosary to be offered Tuesday at 7 P.M. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:30 A.M., proceeding to Sacred Heart Church for a funeral Mass commencing at 10 A.M. Graveside services to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
