Peter E. Felice died suddenly Monday morning in Modesto at the
age of 71.
Peter E. Felice died suddenly Monday morning in Modesto at the age of 71.

He was born in Trenton, N.J. and lived in San Benito County for 37 years. Peter had been a plumber for close to 40 years. He was a member of the Italian Catholic Federation and a former member of the Hollister Elk’s Lodge and the Hollister Exchange Club. His hobbies included farming, racing homing pigeons and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Felice of Modesto and his former wife Earline Egger of Redding; his children, Mark Felice of Hollister, Susan Garner and her husband, Ron, of Hollister, and Tony Felice, and his wife, Maria, of Mt. Herman; grandfather of Nick and Josh Felice of Aptos, Christina Garner of Hollister, Katherine McKenzie of Hemet and Casey Garner of Hollister; brother of Rosella Kirkham of Ariz. He also is survived by three great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter.

A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Grunnagle Ament Nelson Funeral Home at 2pm on Friday. Father Rudy Ruiz of Sacred Heart Catholic Church will officiate. Arrangements for cremation were under the direction of Grunnagle Ament Nelson Crematory in Hollister. Contributions are preferred to Hospice.
