Peter F. Costa passed away Monday evening at Mabie Southside Skilled Nursing Facility in Hollister at the age of 76. He was born and resided in Hollister all his life. Peter was a local dairyman and farmer for nearly 50 years. He was a Member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and also was an avid pedro card player. Peter is survived by his wife, Romana of Hollister. Father of Henry Costa, fiance, Sue, of Merced, Nancy DeLaRosa, Teddy Costa, companion, Renee, all of Hollister. Grandfather of Rachelle DeLaRosa of Hollister. Brother of Charles Costa of Hollister and the late George Costa. Uncle of George Costa, Jr., Marilyn Costa and Walter Festaro. He is also survived by his close friend, Bob Glover of Morgan Hill.
A memorial Mass will be offered on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 12:00 noon at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Private inurnment will be at Calvary Cemetery. Contributions are preferred to Mabie Southside Skilled Nursing Facility of your favorite charity. Send condolences to www.grunnagle.com.
