Philip K. Clark passed away in Pope Valley, CA at the age of 64. He was born in Oklahoma and grew up in Sentinel and Stillwater. He came to California as a teen and lived in Hollister for the past 12 years moving here from Salinas. He married his wife, Laura, in 1990 in Carmel, CA and liked to fish, read, play the stock market and was involved in the ministry and Bible Study at Grace Bible Church. He had a deep love for his native Oklahoma. He is a graduate of California State University-East Bay in Hayward and taught Economics and US History at San Benito High School. He served his country honorably in the US Army.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Clark of Hollister, his two daughters, Melody and Katie Clark both of Hollister, his sisters and brother, Sandra Deeds of Cordell OK, Laura Ruth Prewitt of Cordell, OK, Brenda Layne O’Neal of Fremont, CA and Jimmy Darryl Clark of Sunnyvale, CA .

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at Grace Bible Church, 6th and Monterey Streets in Hollister.
