Phyllis Jean passed away on December 8, 2010, after a lengthy illness, she was the third of three children born to Elmer and Agnes Sutton of Salinas, CA.

Phyllis graduated from Salinas High, class of 1947. A devoted employee of Contel Telephone for 25 years in Victorville as well as Gilroy.

She had a great love of gardening and beautiful flowers. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Cecil Sutton, sister Glena Ahart (Lee), as well as her husband Micky Daley. She is survived by many wonderful family and friends including her daughter Patti Everly and grandson Ryan of Victorville, CA. (Ryan was her devoted caregiver and made his grandmother proud). Son Richard C. Everly Jr. of Gilroy and grandsons Richard C. Everly III of Morgan Hill and Hunter C. Everly of Santa Cruz. Great-granddaughter Lillian May Everly of Sutter Creek, CA, nephews William Row III of Salinas, Robert H. Row and others.

At Phyllis’s request no services will be held. In lieu of flowers donation are preferred to American Heart Association.

The family wishes to give special thanks to Phyllis’s caregivers and friends, especially Bette, Roger and Beverly for their love and support.
