The pole was in the middle of Fairview Road at Comstock Road.

Traffic halted on a portion of Fairview Road on Tuesday morning when a pickup truck knocked down a utility pole.
The accident happened shortly before 11 a.m. at Fairview and Comstock roads outside of Hollister.
The 33-year-old male driver of a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck hit the pole and came away uninjured, according to the California Highway Patrol. Fatigue was a possible factor in the accident, and the CHP ruled out drugs or alcohol. There were no other vehicles involved in the accident.
The pole and wires were blocking a portion of the road as the CHP stopped traffic after the wreck. Pacific Gas & Electric crews were on scene addressing the pole.
